Happy Victory Monday, Sharks Fans!

The Sharks shook off a hot start by the Majestics to bounce the visitors back to Bakersfield, winning 105-86.Deion Davis led all scorers with 24 points, Trace Dimeff scored 18, and BJ Johnson Jr. chipped in 16 points across a balanced offensive attack from San Diego.But the player of the night was big man Kam Rooks, who barely missed a 20-20 game with 19 points, 22 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks.

Rooks was an absolute difference maker around the rim, leading to the Majestics settling for a large number of mid range jump shots.Down 18-5 early, the Sharks responded with a 22-0 run in the first quarter to take the lead for most  of the remainder of the game.After a back-and-forth start to the third quarter, the Sharks pulled away for a blowout win.

The Sharks’ 6th win in a row has Head Coach Brandon Cheeks’ squad in first place heading into a showdown with second place Long Beach this Saturday night!
